Features |
- Super HSP CUPLAs make coupling hydraulic lines, even with residual pressure on the plug side, simpler and easier.
- As conventional plugs can be used with Super HSP sockets ensuring outstanding compatibility, provided that plugs with production lot number 11 or greater are used.
- Heat treated special steel bodies are provided to withstand impulse shock and ensure stable functioning over a long service life.
- Constructed for extremely low pressure loss, they are especially suitable for use on hydraulic lines where fluid flow is critical. Moreover, both socket and plug are fitted with automatic valves which prevent leakage during disconnection.

Construction and How to use |
Condition when connected with residual pressure on the plug side
When a plug with residyual pressure is connected, the socket valve opens but the valve on the plug side remains closed. Nevertheless, in this condition the connection between plug and socket is completed.
Condition with valve opened and locked after applying a pressure in excess of residual pressure plus 10kgf/cm2 |
In condition (A), when a pressure in excess of the residual pressure plus 10 kgf/cm2 is applied, the valve on the plug side opens and locks. In this condition, the fluid can flow from either the socket side or the plug side. |
Interchangeability |
- Conventional plugs, provided production lot number is 11 or greater, can be used with supper HSP sockets.
