SP-V CUPLA |
■ CUPLA valves(patd.) designed specifically for vacuum evacuation and freon charging.
■ External shape. dimensions and pressure tightness are the same as the SP,but an ultratight seal is used in the internal automatic shut-off valve mechanism which enables it to withstand the suction force of a vacuum.
■ Able to withstand a 10-3mmHg vacuum. Ideal for freon (R12,22) and refrigeration oil. |

Features |
- Valves in both the plug and socket prevent leakage of gas or oil upon disconnection.
- Highly accurate machining technology creates an extremely tight seal.
- Ball lock system allows free swiveling action of hose

Structure |
When disconnected |
The socket and plug valves seal instantly, automatically shutting off fluid flow to prevent leakage. |
|
When When connected |
The socket and plug valves push together, opening to permit free flow of fluid through CUPLA.An O-ring in the socket seals the plug surface preventing any leakage. |
|
|
Interchangeability |
- Different size sockets and plugs are not interchangeable.
- The SP-V (except for the 3SP-V) is interchangeable with the SP.
|
Precaution |
- Dust, foreign matter and flaws may reduce vacuum resistance.
